Today on Tuesday June 10th,  3rd, 4th 5th and 6th class travelled to Dublin on their annual school Tour.  We visited Croke Park where we had a great morning seeing the magnificent grounds, stadium,  dressing rooms and of course the pitch.  After lunch we then travelled across the city to Kilmainham Gaol (Jail).  We had spent many a history lesson learning about the 1916 rising and its leaders, so it was extra special to see where they were executed and held as prisoners.  After a long and enjoyable day we headed back for Cavan.
